Darren is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Baker Gilmore & Associates. As a Portfolio Manager, Darren is responsible for top-down forecasting, portfolio construction, risk management, and trading.

Darren has 23 years of investment industry experience and has been with the firm since 2002. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Fixed Income Trader at Morgan Stanley Canada and an Economic Advisor at the Consulate General of Japan.

Darren earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Western Ontario, an MA in Economics from Queen’s University and an MBA from Columbia University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Financial Risk Management (FRM) designations.
